About the Intermountain Cup

The Intermountain Cup is a classic cross country mountain bike race series, featuring cross country mountain bike races at various locations in Utah and Wyoming. The mountain bike races start in early March in southern Utah where the climate is mild all year long. In May, the Intermountain Cup moves to northern Utah, where the races become more frequent.

Started in 1993, the Intermountain Cup enjoys a strong following of mountain bikers. The mountain bike race courses range from classic desert terrain with slick rock, to the alpine slopes and forests of Utah’s world famous ski resorts. The Intermountain Cup offers mountain bikers the opportunity to race on some of the best mountain bike trails in the country, through some of Utah’s most spectacular scenery.
